Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture along with Agriculture Today Group, organised the first-ever INDIA ANIMAL HEALTH SUMMIT AND AWARDS 2022 on 6-7 July, at NASC, New Delhi. Shri Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying inaugurated the summit and talked about the need to strengthen cooperative movement in the livestock sector and he called for greater use of Ayurveda for ensuring better animal health.
He was joined by the Secretary, AHD Mr. Atul Chaturvedi, Dy. DG, ILRI, Dr Deiter Joseph, Dy. DG, ICAR, Dr BN Tripathi, AH Commisisoner, Dr Praveen Malik, Chairman, Veterinary Council of India, Dr. Umesh Sharma and Chairman, ICFA WG on AH, Dr KML Pathak. The Minister also launched ICFA India Animal Health Forum. The conference was participated by several vice chancellors, State AH directors and industry CEOs. Over 21,000 veterinarians from across the country and the world joined online.
